Many a time people speak amiss because they do not understand that words matter. But then this is what Jesus says concerning words, “The words I speak to you they are spirits and they are life”. This shows that words are seeds, and that is why we should never speak anyhow because whatever we say has the ability to bear the exact fruit that we have spoken.
This is why when people oftentimes say “over their dead bodies” they usually die before the things they said won’t happen, happen.
Oftentimes when parents out of anger curse their children callings them all sorts of names, like “goat, stupid, etc. their children suddenly behave like the animals that they are being called.
The bible says life and death is in the power of the tongue. This is why it is important that we understand what we say before we even say them.
Words are powerful so we should be careful when we speak. Proverbs 18:21, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof”. The bible says we would eat the fruit of what we say.
During the time of Adam, the bible says that “whatever Adam called them, that’s what they were”.
It is worthy to note that man is a co-creator for God has given him the ability to do so. Therefore, it is paramount to take to heart what we say and how we say them.
