God’s presence is the ultimate and the best thing that can happen to anybody. When the Lord will have Moses go to Pharaoh, he was mindful that he cannot do anything of himself if the Lord doesn’t help him. And so he cried out to God and asked him to go with him.
The bible recorded that his presence went with them as the pillar of fire by the night and the pillar of clouds by the day; this made the people of Egypt not be able to attack them until they crossed over the river of Jordan.
Without communicating with God, one lacks direction and guidance. However, if we do go to him in humility he will respond to us.
In His presence, there is guidance; there is direction; there is life! No wonder David said: “Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures evermore” (Psalm 16:11).
In his presence, we are guided by his truth, into all truth; there’s a revelation; every form of confusion gives way.
One way to attract the presence of God is by making fellowship with Him a priority. Studying the word voraciously and praying in tongues fervently every day.
One assurance we need to stand upon is that God can never forsake us all we need is to seek his presence with all sincerity, with all our hearts. If we seek his presence, he is ever ready to go before us and lead us.
